Don't judge this book by its cover - Rebel is the sire of champions! A solid black of full Peruvian descent, with an impeccable black pedigree. Sired by Peruvian Black Reign - an impressive black import from Peru - resident in Australia at the renowned black alpaca stud, Canchones, this bloodline is right at the peak of black alpaca genetics! His dam, Bonny Park Ebony. is the granddaughter of the famous Australian black sire Coonawarra Julius. A compact, smaller statured male, Rebel has a dense lustrous jet black fleece with a great fleece statistics - his 2nd shear measured just 22.2µ.

The proof is in the progeny - Rebel cria have won fleece and conformation classes as well as age and colour classes in addition to championships. As we have used Rebel in our grey breeding programme, a number of his cria have inherited white markings from their dam, and so have not been shown, or retained for breeding - however these cria have all shown superior conformation and fleece characteristics. When mated to a solid black, his cria have always been solid black.
