Experience walking with an alpaca!

Experienced guides Liz and Cheryl host our internationally famous interactive farm tours. Take part in a guided tour of our farm – meet all the alpacas from the smallest cria (baby) to the largest stud male, and learn their stories . We’ll introduce you to our alpaca ambassadors, and you’ll be give the chance to cuddle them and their alpaca friends – and take them for a walk! We know all our alpacas by name, and many of the alpacas will walk right up to you for a personal introduction. We are a working farm, so, leaving from the farmhouse, you get to see alpaca farming at the coalface, and discover how we shear alpacas – its different to shearing a sheep!

You will get the opportunity to lead alpacas, just like these visitors are.

If you would like to be our guests on one of our guided tours and see alpacas al fresco, meet our alpacas (and us), find out what sets us apart, hear our stories and get up close and personal to some of our adorable alpacas – and in addition learn their history and their potential today (the New Zealand alpaca industry), maintenance and farming issues, or any other alpaca related topic you’d like to know about – enjoy one of our two daily scheduled tours – these depart from our farmhouse at 10.30am and 1:30pm every day except Thursday. We cater for both individuals and groups. Booking is required. We’d love to meet you. Our on-farm shop features quality New Zealand made alpaca products including hats, scarves, toys and souvenirs. Spoil yourself, or buy a gift for someone you love! Sturdy weatherproof footwear advised. Bring your camera!

Look for us on Facebook – just click the logo! Check out the photos from previous tours to see how much fun people have with our alpacas.
