We jumped at the opportunity to purchase this stunning grey male, importing him from Australia in January 2015 at the age of 10 years. Marconi is a fine, even coloured silver grey male with virtually no “spots”. He displays an extremely soft handling fleece, so often missing in true greys. Marconi was also selected as Mr September in the 2006 calendar “A Passion for Alpaca“.
His progeny have been making their mark in the Australian show ring. Gunnamatta Laelia (MG) has been awarded ribbons at every show entered since a junior in 2010, including both National Shows (Tamworth 2010 & Homebush 2011.) At the 2011 National Show she was also awarded “Best Grey”.
Marconi’s siblings include Gunnamatta Jupiter and Gunnamatta Mercury, both ribbon winning stud males now residing in Tasmania and Queensland respectively.
